人性与艺术：全景放映单元
产业尝试与艺术立言，早已成为横亘在各国电影人面前的一个忧心忡忡的抉择与命题。在泥沙俱下的电影产业环境里，我们仍然能够挑拣出经受得住艺术评判、市场敲击与历史检验的好作品，他们未必没有考虑产业的游戏规则，未必不具备在大荧幕与观众广泛见面的能量与机会，他们更坚守了对作为电影表达基础的人性与艺术之态度的严肃考量，闪耀着动人的艺术之光。
相反，中国电影产业的崛起，尽管其在电影产值上的增量令亚洲诸国乃至国际业界艳羡不已，但它在艺术质量上的表现却令人遗憾。如何从过剩的产业泡沫中撷取被遗落的艺术珠玑，“人性与艺术”的衡量标准在迷失时代似乎尤显珍贵，我们怀抱这样的选片标准，本届影展全景放映单元将围绕“人性与艺术”的主题，精选十部国际佳作。它们既有大师新作，更有出自年轻影人的惊人表�。由此期冀为南昌大学师生带来另一种新的观影经验，并渐进地自我培育有品�的观影素养。
作为本年度东京影展唯一入选的中国竞赛片，谢飞监制、王竞导演的《万箭穿心》将作为开幕影片启幕本届影展，接连有美籍华裔新秀导演潘贝思的新作《几乎完美》，也有瑞典大师扬•特洛尔的新近力作《璀璨瞬间》，更有法国新锐导演马修•德米自导、自制、自编、自演的《美国》。若从人性议题出发，有以幽默冷峻的笔触表现老年生活的《当我们住在一起》，有描述少年犯对自己身世不懈追逐的《呼吸》，还有反映边境警察滥用特权并反思人性偏见的《葡萄牙之旅》，以及大胆诉诸司法公权力议题的《断箭》，更有以沉默而诗意的公路电影方法斩获去年戛纳影展金摄影机奖的《相思树》，最后还有一�别开生面的台湾本土浪漫爱情喜剧《听说》。
Humanity and Arts: Panorama
To achieve market success while making an artistic statement has always be a mind boggling issue that global filmmakers will have to face. The legacy of a good film could always withstand the sharp-tongued critiques, the box office outcomes, and sustain on its own values. Despite numerous challenges and restraints, a good film would prevail based on the fundamentality of arts and the firm belief in humanity.
Opposite to our understandings, as the exponential uprising of the Chinese film industry has become the envy of other markets in the world; the quality of many films have somehow been compromised by the quantity. Regardless, how “the lost gems” are to be emerged out of the sea of the productions will ultimately be detected by the universal consciousness of Arts and Humanity. Coincidentally, arts and humanity are the thematic intent for our panorama in this Campus Film Fest and the core value as the filmmakers that we are all dearly embraced of. We have thus selected ten international renowned films which fell into the realm of our theme , with our sincere expectation of not only presenting the chance to explore new visual experiences, but also to cultivate a good quality of film literacy.
The opening film in the Nanchang University Campus Film Fest is FENG SHUI, produced by Xie Fei, directed By Wang jing, which has been the sole Chinese contender in the competition of feature films in 2012 Tokyo Film Fest. Followed by “ALMOST PERFECT” by American Chinese new talent Bertha Bay-Sa Pan. Swedish master Jan Troeil’s recent hit “EVERLASTING MOMENTS”, French new filmmaker Mathieu Demy’s “AND IF WE ALL LIVED TOGETHER”, which he wrote, produced, directed and acted in it.; “BREATHING” by Austrian director Karl Markovics; “JOURNEY TO PORTUGAL” by Portuguese director Sergio Trefault, “LAS ACACIAS” by Argentina director Pablo Giorgelli, with leading actress Hebe Duarte; “AND IF WE ALL LIVED TOGETHER”, produced by French filmmaker Christophe Bruncher, direceted by Stephane robeline. “UNBOWED”, produced by Korean filmmaker Kim Ji Yeon, directed by Jeong ji-yeong and the closing film will be Taiwanese award winning“HEAR ME” directed by Cheng Fen-Fen.
